maintenance building with storage for equipment, supplies, and restroom facilities for a caretaker.
As part of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest the property is home to a wealth of tropical flora and fauna. The abundance of
bird species that inhabit the land
makes it ideal for birding. Sitting above the Guarani Aquifer, one of the largest and purest underground water
sources in the world, the property is also home to many mountain springs and three major streams. In order to
help preserve these water resources and the incredible surrounding ecosystem, 295 ha of the 400 ha total
have been permanently protected as a private reserve (designated as RPPN I and II on
the map). The other 35 ha that include the existing residence also offer additional building sites.
